Today's prompt is: Skirt
I know this word has sooooo many meanings...obviously the one that came first in my mind is what I am wearing right now (and almost everyday I go to work!)
Or how about skirting the subject.... evading it.... avoiding it.... you know....
But here are a few more I did not even know before today:
a small leather flap on each side of a saddle, covering the metal bar from which the stirrup hangs.
to remove low-grade wool and foreign matter from (the outer edge of fleece).
to lie on or along the border of

I should have thought of the saddle skirts! I knew that-but I've never heard of the wool thing.

ReplyDeleteso sorry I missed this last week. I wasn't "skirting" the task though -- something personal came up with the family and my time was needed elsewhere. hope to be back pondering with you this week.
