Everywhere I look in the blogosphere, there are daffodils! But none in my local park, where the buds refuse to open :(
ReplyDeletelol.... Tilly that is why you have to BUY them!!!!
DeleteI bought myself a small bunch, to set alongside the hellebores, for Mother's Day. Yes, I know that's cheating but they're less fattening than biscuits.
ReplyDeleteLOL.... less fattening and more beautiful!
DeleteFrom here, the best I can hope for is to sit by the window, munch on a few of those cookies & dream about where flowers might bloom 2-3 months from now.
ReplyDeletelol... the cookies are on their way :)
Deleteah I love daffodils - almost impossible to find out here for some reason!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend
Thanks Alyson... you do the same... and I wonder why there aren't any daffodils there...
DeleteI love daffodils as well, still have them on my table from last week. A bit of spring inside while the snow keeps falling outside ;)
ReplyDeleteHow funny... we also got windmill cookies from my gran but they were from speculoos! I still love them as well. Must be the sentiment! Have a great weekend!
I do think the windmill cookies are more sentiment than taste....
DeleteYou have a good weekend too Cessie!
Of course you deserve a treat! Bill loves the windmill cookies; I am more for the shortbread. The flowers are for everyone!

DeleteI am glad that you received the treat that you deserved, Brenda. It sounds really good.
ReplyDelete..
Sorry I'm late in returning. Yesterday we tried out my camera some more at our 80-year-old-widowed friend's birthday party. She showed off a lot of the quilts she had made, the ones that she kept.
..
I would love to see those quilts Jim!!!
