Six Word Saturday - It's About Time

Decided I deserved some special treats:
I mean....who doesn't love flowers?

And was it only my Grandmother?

But Windmill cookies were always there.....

What's funny is I did not Remember they are really ginger cookies!!

And shortbread cookies were an afterthought....

Looks like I really know how
To spoil a girl... hee hee

  1. Everywhere I look in the blogosphere, there are daffodils! But none in my local park, where the buds refuse to open :(

  2. I bought myself a small bunch, to set alongside the hellebores, for Mother's Day. Yes, I know that's cheating but they're less fattening than biscuits.

  3. From here, the best I can hope for is to sit by the window, munch on a few of those cookies & dream about where flowers might bloom 2-3 months from now.

  5. I love daffodils as well, still have them on my table from last week. A bit of spring inside while the snow keeps falling outside ;)
How funny... we also got windmill cookies from my gran but they were from speculoos! I still love them as well. Must be the sentiment! Have a great weekend!

Sorry I'm late in returning. Yesterday we tried out my camera some more at our 80-year-old-widowed friend's birthday party. She showed off a lot of the quilts she had made, the ones that she kept.
